Film and Music
Music in films delivers
a wide spectrum across all styles of music
Film music is music for films. On one side it is the mostly classical instrumented score which underlines the mood of the film scene and carries us into the events in the film emotionally. But it is also the perhaps audible Pop- or Rock-title comming from the radio in a car incidental.
Every music contributes more or less a part to build up or to intensify the respective atmospheres. Ahead of this background a wide field across all music styles opens. Music likes to search for a certain balance to the pictures where the main focus between music and pictures positions itself fluently, so the music can form every facet from minimalist to dominant. Because film music does not stand alone on ist own, but results in the film together with the pictures.
Music is
a reflection of the period, in which it arises
Every period has it's own styles. Every period has it's own
regional feeling of life which reflects itself in the expression of the music.
